On November 25, The 12th China Overseas Investment Fair (referred to as the “Foreign Trade Fair”) was grandly held in the Beijing International Hotel Conference Center. More than 800 people including Gao Gao, Deputy Secretary-General of the National Development and Reform Commission of China, Vladimir Norov, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, envoys of more than 80 countries to China, and representatives of more than 500 large domestic enterprises in China attended this foreign trade fair.
As a special guest at the conference, Mr. An Jiwen, Chairman of Huaihai Holding Group and the first chairman of the China Overseas Development Association Vehicles Professional Committee, attended the opening ceremony of the Foreign Trade Fair and the Ambassador Dialogue Forum and other activities, met with representatives of multinational envoys and institutions in China and discussed the international production capacity cooperation of mini vehicles.
Chairman An Jiwen gave an interview to the media
During the period, Chairman An Jiwen said in an interview with Xinhua News Agency and China Central Radio and Television Global News Channel and other central media, “We want to promote the excellent Chinese business model to the world, and Huaihai will take the entire mini vehicle industry to go abroad “in group”.
Mini-vehicle covers multiple categories such as two-wheel motorcycles, two-wheel electric vehicles, three-wheel electric vehicles, three-wheel motorcycles and new energy vehicles. After decades of development, China’s mini-vehicle industry has the most solid foundation, the most completed industrial chain and the most advanced technology. China’s production and sales volume is expected to exceed 60 million units in 2020, and now the China’s lithium battery technology is more advanced than Europe, America and Japan.
Based on the advantages of Chinese products in the four aspects of technology, safety, quality, and price, Chinese companies can not only export finished cars to the international market, but also export high-tech components. Huaihai has reached a strategic partnership with BYD to jointly create the lithium driving integrated system which is suitable for the new generation of lithium mini-vehicles.
Huaihai has established overseas bases in Pakistan, India, Indonesia and other countries. In the next five years, we plan to establish total 7 overseas bases, which are expected to cover 4 billion people worldwide. Huaihai is looking for strategic partners locally to output excellent supporting resources such as products, technology, manpower, management, operation and marketing. With the core of overseas bases Huaihai will establish the marketing and service systems which is suitable for different scenarios in the surrounding areas and improves logistics and other supporting facilities.
Talking about the future, Mr. An Jiwen believes that the innovation is very essential. In the 5G era and the fourth industrial revolution, Huaihai, as a leading enterprise in mini-vehicle, must lay a solid foundation for digitalization and intelligence and lead the entire industry to enhance its international industrial status. The market needs to develop various products, improve the upstream and downstream industrial chain, build a digital and intelligent business model and meet the future step by step.
