This was Wang Chengguo’s first visit to Central Asia and a long-awaited expedition for him. The destination of this trip mainly used Russian as the common language, posing a significant communication barrier as he couldn’t communicate in English. After arriving at the destination, he encountered extreme and adverse weather conditions of heavy rain and snowstorms. The poor visibility of less than a hundred meters due to rain and snow posed a significant challenge to the market investigation work. Nevertheless, Wang Chengguo quickly overcame these challenges and persevered in his intense work amidst the rain and snow.
