Huaihai Holding Group Grandly Holds the 2024 Mid-Year Work Summary and Commendation Conference

To review and summarize the completion of the business and development goals for the first half of the year, analyze the current economic situation, research and resolve issues and obstacles affecting development, deploy key tasks for the second half of the year, and commend outstanding achievements to further boost morale and ensure the full completion of the annual goals, Huaihai Holding Group grandly held the 2024 Mid-Year Work Summary and Commendation Conference on July 15th. The Group’s Party Secretary and Chairman, An Jiwen, attended the conference and delivered an important speech. The conference was presided over by the Group’s Executive Vice President, Han Yunzheng.

Attending the conference were the Group’s Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President, Wang Guofeng; Vice Presidents An Guichen, Jia Yu, Jiang Bo, An Keyan, Yuan Ji, Xing Hongyan, Qin Wuyun, Fang Runxin; heads of various companies; cadres above the section level; and employee representatives. Branch venues in Feng County, Chongqing, Shaanxi, and Tianjin companies also participated in the meeting.

During the conference, Group’s Party Secretary and Chairman, An Jiwen, delivered an important speech titled “Enhance Strategic Cognition, Strengthen Performance Assessment, and Ensure High-Quality Development.”

The Chairman stated that in the first half of the year, the Group earnestly implemented the guidance of the annual work report, focusing on value creation and promoting high-quality development. By leveraging a performance assessment management model emphasizing innovation and strategic overall goals, they deeply analyzed the root causes of shortfalls in meeting annual targets and continuously improved the performance assessment system across “research, production, supply, sales, service, management, and personnel,” enhancing performance and innovation capabilities. In the first half of the year, the Group’s work mechanisms were more refined, employees’ initiatives increased, and business performance was more outstanding—three vehicle industries showed steady progress, and the Group’s micro-vehicle production and sales volume, total tax revenue, and total employee income achieved double-digit growth year-on-year. The three Huaihai New Energy industries made significant progress in high-level talent team building, project construction, and resource integration. Major projects such as Huaihai Fudi, Huaihai Power, and Zongshen Phase III are progressing orderly. The Group’s trillion-level “332″ new quality industry economic ecosystem is becoming clearer!

The Chairman pointed out that in the second half of the year, the Group will seize new opportunities brought by a new round of industrial and technological revolution, firmly implement the high-quality development strategy of “Technology as King, Innovation as the Foundation,” and focus on promoting the “One Heart with the Enterprise, One Direction with the Strategy, and One Journey with the Career” project. They will scientifically plan technical talent, software and hardware infrastructure construction work, ensuring the effective implementation of product development plans, technological innovation development plans, and R&D management models. By fully utilizing the Group’s leading position in the micro-vehicle sector, they will solidly advance the dual-wheel drive of “upgrading the vehicle industry and nurturing the new energy industry,” continuously enhancing the dual-wheel drive development of domestic and international markets. In new energy industry development, they will take a forward-looking and multidimensional layout, solidify the development foundation with innovation and technological explosive power, and seize new opportunities and tracks in the development of sodium-ion new energy industry, vigorously promoting high-tech products of sodium-ion batteries to empower vehicle industry, light storage, power, and other “332″ new quality industries for leapfrog and international development.

The Chairman required that the Group focus on the high-quality coordinated development of the “332″ eight new quality economic industries, closely aligning with the “Five New Themes”: New Economy, New Technology, New Model, New Form, and New Huaihai. They will ensure product and marketing capabilities with the high standards of “Talent First, Technology First, Quality First, Brand First”; deeply understand the connotation and practical path of new quality productivity, and earnestly implement the “Five Strategies” for developing new quality productivity: New Quality, Digital Intelligence, Sodium-ion, Ecological, and International. They will accurately grasp the new opportunities brought by high-tech products of sodium-ion batteries in the vehicle and new energy industry development revolution, continuously deepen technological, product, model, and industrial innovations, and inject new momentum for Huaihai’s leapfrog development and long-term prosperity.

The Chairman also emphasized the need to ensure the ecological coordinated development of the “332″ eight new quality industries through systematic implementation of the “Three Speeches”: Speak of Goals, Speak of Concepts, Speak of Models, forming an innovative high-quality and efficient performance assessment management model system. The Group should: 1) Unify knowledge and action, strengthen strategic cognition, build strategic confidence, and enhance the execution capacity of the “research, production, supply, sales, service, management, and personnel” seven performance systems and the innovation leadership capabilities; 2) Emphasize simplicity, balance publicity, education, and assessment management, and rigidly implement the high-quality and efficient performance assessment management model; 3) Match organization, positions, talents with development goals, strategic concepts, and management models, continuously enhancing organizational cohesion and staff competency; 4) Cultivate a value concept of “Co-Creation, Shared Success, Win-Win,” and fulfill the corporate mission of “Prosperous Employees, Strong Enterprise, Praised Society.”

During the conference’s exchange session, Vice Presidents Jia Yu, Jiang Bo, Xing Hongyan, and Director Gu Xiaoqian delivered speeches. They reported on the implementation of annual business model plans, progress and achievements in business goals and strategic matters, and shared experiences on empowering high-quality development through high-quality assessment.
