Mr. Pangilinan Manuel Espiritu is a renowned passenger logistics operator with nearly ten thousand registered drivers. At that time, as Mr. Manuel was grappling with vehicle-related challenges for a local ride-hailing platform, Huaihai International, a globally recognized micro-mobility brand with 15 years of market expertise, engaged in multiple discussions with him. After thorough discussions, both parties agreed to a formal meeting on May 15, 2023, in Xuzhou, China.

Destined Meeting: On May 15th, as scheduled, Mr. Manuel visited the Huaihai International headquarters base in Xuzhou. At that time, both parties had not anticipated that it would be such a delightful, pragmatic, and fruitful meeting.

After touring the full range of products offered by Huaihai International, Mr. Manuel was captivated by HIGO, the intelligent electric passenger vehicle independently developed by Huaihai International. Subsequently, during his itinerary in Xuzhou, he arranged a tour focused on HIGO.

On May 17th, Huaihai International and Southeast Asian partner Mr. Manuel had already finalized the customization and configuration details for the first batch of HIGO prototype vehicles. They successfully signed the project cooperation agreement.

On January 22, 2024, Huaihai International held the Huaihai New Energy 2024 Service Marketing Summit, with a dedicated session for Southeast Asia, in Xuzhou. The Southeast Asian partners were formally invited to attend. Upon receiving the invitation, Mr. Manuel promptly and positively responded, accepting the invitation to participate. The conference coincided with the milestone of bulk delivery of HIGO to the Southeast Asian ride-hailing platform. After the conference, on January 23, Mr. Manuel also attended the bulk delivery ceremony organized by Huaihai International for the Southeast Asian ride-hailing platform featuring HIGO.
